A bunch of illustrations and comics for the 9th issue of Lucky Peach, Cooks & Chefs 2. It’s a really great issue with a cover by Lacey Micallef!
Thanks to AD Walter Green for the assignment!

So happy to have had the chance to draw a cover and comic for the January/February issue of Cicada magazine!
Cicada is part of a line of literary magazines for young people, and I was actually raised on Ladybug, Spider, and Cricket throughout my childhood – so I was beyond excited to work on this. Not to mention that previous covers have been drawn by some of my heroes.
Many thanks to AD Marnie Galloway for the dream job!

I ain’t stylish, but I’ll do my best!!
Yo I started drawing for Style Journal Tumblr Blog! I joined the super-talented Britt, Vicki, and Charmaine and I think more folks are getting on board soon. Thanks for the invite you guys, I’ll amp up my style for you ~ ♥
A portrait of Canadian singer-songwriter Basia Bulat for the New Yorker. Musicians are always fun to research – thanks AD Jordan Awan!
Portrait of the electronic band Fuck Buttons (Andrew Hung and Benjamin John Power) for the New Yorker. This was fun to research. Thanks AD Jordan Awan!
For the zine STREP THROAT, edited & published by Laura Pérez-Harris of Throat Art.
Here is the little zine I made for SPX, a followup to the one I made for SFZF. There are slightly fewer pages in this one. The drawings are a bit better.
SPX was really fun, and I was happy to meet so many new & old friends.
Thanks to everyone on twitter who volunteered their selfies for the last double spread.
Here’s a little sketchzine I threw together for SF Zine Fest this past weekend. I’m working on some long involved projects right now, so I wanted to try something loose (comparatively) and low-pressure. This was done in about a week, xeroxed, and distributed for free.
I talked a little bit about my motivations in making this zine in my Zine Fest interview, administered by Channing Kennedy, a video of which is now up online.
I’ll bring some of these to SPX in a few weeks, and I’ll try to have a new one by then too.
