Here is a little illustration I did for issue #5 of my favorite magazine, Lucky Peach. This was an insane issue to be in, alongside so many friends and faves like Hannah K. Lee, Michael DeForge, Eleanor Davis, Kris Mukai, and Angie Wang. Many thanks to art director Walter Green!

I made a 7-page comic called “In Camera” for Happiness 3, edited as always by the fabulous Leah Wishnia and up for preorder here.
It should also be debuting at the Brooklyn Comics and Graphics Festival on November 10th - you can grab it at the Collective Stench table, #D12.
This is a massive double issue (180+ pages!) with an insane number of talented artists, including some of my favorites like Zejian Shen, Niv Bavarsky, Renata Gąsiorowska, Inés Estrada, Andy Burkholder and many more.
If you get it, let me know what you think!

A party sequence by Sophia Foster-Dimino in Happiness Comics no.2.
Fun facts: the guy doing karaoke is Ryan Sands, singing “Diana” by Paul Anka, which is something I saw him do once.
The guy wearing a velociraptor mask and a tuxedo is Jesse Balmer, this has also happened in real life
Oh, and Angie Wang in a bowtie is off to the right being admired by fans (also nonfiction).
To be honest, I put everyone I know in this comic
You can get Happiness 2 here.
Hi! If you liked my piece Buginojo (details of which can be seen above) for the Battles Without Honor and Humanity show at Floating World, you can now buy a print of it here! It’s $10.
All the other lovely artists have their pieces up for sale too, have a look.
You can also buy a little art zine of everyone’s work if you like!
Thanks again to Sloane for her divine machinations!

Hi Portland! Please go to Floating World Comics on September 15th to check out the show Battles Without Honor and Humanity, curated by Sloane Leong. You will see the above piece, and many other pieces by insanely talented folks like Rebecca Mock, Jeremy Sorese, Kris Mukai, Ryan Andrews, Hwei Lim, Hunter Heckroth, and more – go here for additional info.
This is almost single-handedly inspired by the Akira Kurosawa film Drunken Angel. I wish I could find a clip of the dance scene, but here’s a clip from just before it happens.
Thanks, Sloane!

So, here’s a Thing—or, rather, a fraction of a tease of a Thing, wherein the Thing in question is a story called “Countdown” that I wrote and Sophia Foster-Dimino drew for the upcoming Ship issue of Womanthology: Space.
A comic impends!
